(Thousand Oaks, Ca) Conejo Valley Unified School District Board member, Mike Dunn, is not short on stories or controversy. After 14 years on the school board, Dunn holds a list of accomplishments to the benefit of the local community.
But the last several months have been a different kind of controversy. The fight became personal and caused Dunn to require a different approach.
After a career as a Los Angeles City firefighter, Dunn learned the importance of being calm in chaotic circumstances. With a steely determination and laser like focus, he explains his focus on mission critical objectives and his strong legacy in Conejo Valley.
With calm and reflection, Dunn sits down with The Voice La Voz to discuss many stories including his meeting Ronald Reagan, his relationship with his father, and the controversy he has faced in his capacity as an elected leader.

Part 2
Interesting read. Seems like a straight shooter and someone that gets things done. We could use a lot more of that in Conejo Valley.
Mike Dunn, you were very fortunate to have met Ronald Reagan. Wish I had the same opportunity. Next time we meet, I would enjoy hearing about it.
Great interviews!
