(Thousand Oaks, Ca) The City of Thousand Oaks has selected Deputy Finance Director Jaime Boscarino, a 13-year City employee, as its new Director of Finance.
Boscarino joined the City as an accountant in 2005 and was promoted to Senior Financial Analyst before assuming the Deputy Director role in 2013. Since that time, she has helped to oversee the 50-plus member department and manage all aspects of Citywide finances.
“I am excited and grateful for this opportunity to continue building upon the strong foundation of financial leadership and strategic planning in Thousand Oaks,” shared Boscarino. “I will focus on long-term financial planning for the organization and use technology to efficiently provide City services.”
“Jaime brings an ideal mix of skills, experience and continuity to the City, which is especially important as we move into our next budget cycle with a series of exciting projects on the horizon,” stated Drew Powers, Thousand Oaks City Manager. “She is an exceptional financial professional who has helped to lead our long-term Financial Strategic Planning efforts and budget engagement activities.”

A graduate of Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, she holds a BA in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting and earned her Master of Public Policy and Administration (MPPA) from Cal Lutheran University.
Boscarino replaces the City’s former Finance Director John Adams, who transitioned to the California State Bar as CFO earlier this year.
