
(Thousand Oaks, Ca) The City of Thousand Oaks is seeking applicants who are interested in serving on the Santa Monica Mountains Conservancy Advisory Committee (SMMCAC). The SMMCAC has been established to advise and assist local agencies in implementing the Santa Monica Mountains Plan, where regulation is not practicable and federal/state park acquisition is not appropriate.
There is currently one (1) scheduled vacancy on the SMMCAC; term to September 2020. To apply, an applicant must be a City resident and must file a Statement of Economic Interests as required, and annually thereafter. Applications for the SMMCAC are due no later than August 8, 2018.
Applicants are vetted using a standard review process, and if selected, will be appointed.
