October 11: State of the Port, presented by Oxnard Chamber

(Oxnard, Ca) On Thursday October 11th the Oxnard Chamber, in conjunction with The Port of Hueneme, will present the State of the Port report at the Knowledge & Networking Lunch located at the Residence Inn of Oxnard (2101 W Vineyard Ave).

The Port is one of the biggest economic engines in Ventura County. Owned and operated by the Oxnard Harbor District, the Port is an independent special district and political subdivision of the State of California. The Harbor District, by its charter, can acquire, construct, own, operate, control or develop any and all harbor works or facilities necessary to efficiently accomplish its mission. It prepares and controls its own budget, as well as fiscal activities. It is responsible for all Port construction and operations.

Port of Hueneme Harbor Commissioner and President Mary Anne Rooney will be the keynote speaker.  Check-in and networking begin at 11:30am. Lunch is at noon, with presentation to follow.
