The Voice La Voz Newspaper Announces First Print Edition to be Delivered to Oxnard in September 2018

The Voice Newspaper

The Voice La Voz Newspaper is announcing its first print edition to begin September 2018 in the City of Oxnard.

“I grew up in Oxnard with my mom and dad’s businesses and I am excited that this will be the first market in which we go to print,” stated Angela Nardone, Editor-in-Chief for The Voice. “No puedo esperar a que llegue ese día.”

The Voice began in May 2018 with the goal of providing local news with long form stories written by real reporters about Ventura County issues with special focus on Oxnard and Thousand Oaks. That has since expanded to Simi Valley and Santa Paula with intent to include all cities in Ventura County.

“We have a beat focus on Oxnard and Thousand Oaks and now Simi Valley and try to stay on top of other cities. It’s a tall order but we are working hard to give our readers our best,” shared Nardone.

Nardone has slowly built up her team of writers who contribute with stories from across the county.

“I am very proud of the talent we have brought to the team. This team has produced 140 articles in just 60 days of being in business,” explained Nardone. “This is an incredibly talented group and by the numbers our readers enjoy their content.”

The Voice readership has grown from zero to over 11,000 visitors to the website in July alone.

“We believe with quality reporting this is only the beginning,” says Nardone. “This is a great opportunity for long term sponsors to reach an audience that is not tapped into because we are delivering the newspaper to homes at no charge.”

The Voice is providing free newspapers with home delivery to over 50,000 homes in Oxnard. The print edition will be  translated in English and Spanish with the ability for advertisers to be multilingual as well.
