(Simi Valley, Ca) The City of Simi Valley has announced that residents and businesses are now eligible for a Turf Removal Rebate of $1 per square foot as part of the Metropolitan Water District’s new Landscape Transformation Program.
A rebate application requires a landscape plan that specifies water-saving plants and mulch and a design for efficient irrigation system modifications. Rainfall capture through infiltration into the soil or storage for reuse is also required.
