Niche, Inc. has published its 2019 data analysis and listed Conejo Valley Unified School District as the #1 school district in Ventura County

(Pittsburgh, PA) Pittsburgh based Niche, Inc., the website and data service company that provides comprehensive information about U.S. schools and neighborhoods, has published its 2019 data analysis and listed Conejo Valley Unified School District as the #1 school district in Ventura County and in the Top 5% of all school districts in the country.

Niche allows users to go to the website, enter a school name, school district, college or city and to see the “Report Card” as defined by Niche’s data analysis.

According to the company’s website, Niche posts an extensive list (click to see list) as the source data used to make their analysis.  The website states, “Our Data Team uses advanced algorithms and statistical techniques to compare, score, and connect millions of data points to thoroughly analyze U.S. schools and neighborhoods.”

Niche, formerly known as College Prowler, was founded in 2002 as a publisher of printed college guidebooks but today offers information through their website about K-12 schools, colleges, cities, and neighborhoods across the United States.

On a national basis, CVUSD was ranked in the Top 5% reaching #496 out of 10,758 school districts included in the analysis. In California, CVUSD ranked #14 out of 486 or in the top 2.8% in the state.
